HANGYEOM OF OMEGA X TO MAKE HIS ACTING DEBUT IN BL WEBTOON ADAPTATION

OMEGA X's Hangyeom! The idol recently made his acting debut through the Korean drama adaptation of the popular BL webtoon, 'Jazz For Two'! The story follows the story of four high school students and their ongoing struggles and pressures while attending an arts high school.
There, they experience discovering their true selves and growing up through love and music. Hangyeom will play the role of Suh Do-yoon, a student at Wooyeon Arts School. He is a playful, optimistic drum player who is hiding a longtime secret crush.
During its initial run, the original webtoon of 'Jazz For Two' climbed all the way to the #1 position on the BL webtoon chart on Lezhin Comics in 2017.
According to Hangyeom, he was "A bit nervous and scared to try acting for the first time" but was "able to film with great confidence and joy, thanks to all the help from Director Song Su-lim, staff members, and my colleague actors. 'Jazz For Two' is directed by Song Su-lim, whose previous work includes the BL drama, 'A Shoulder to Cry On'. The latter of which the OMEGA X members previously participated in composing and performing its three OST tracks. Alongside Hangyeom, his fellow OMEGA X member Jaehan has taken part in making and singing the original soundtrack for the new drama.'Jazz For Two' began airing in March 2024. A total of eight 30-minute episodes can be viewed on the Chinese-based streaming platform iQIYI in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
