#1- LE SSERAFIM's Kim Chaewon was in the news on two separate occasions this week. First, HYBE shared via weverse that the idol would be returning to regular group schedules on the 1st of November after being given the go-ahead by their doctors. Then later, following rumours that a popular female idol had been implicated in the G-Dragon/Lee Sun-gyun drug investigation, her company had to step out again in order to outright deny the rumours alleging that she was the mystery female idol that had been 'booked' for drug use.

#2- In an interesting turn of events this week, INFINITE found that their official group Instagram account had been officially suspended by the social media platform after it had been falsely flagged as an impersonation account. Following the suspension, the group's management submitted relevant information to prove that it was an official account however did not hear back from the social media platform. The group has apologised to their fans in relation to this matter and further committed to doing their best in order to solve the problem quickly.
