Then, WAKEONE — Kep1er's agency — has revealed that they are in discussions with the group members' representative companies in order to discuss a possible contract extension for the group. Meanwhile, another YG has continued to suffer from bad press related to the potential contract renewals of BLACKPINK members. This time, it was reported that the group's main vocalist, Rose was reportedly the only BLACKPINK member to renew with the agency. This comes following the news that Lisa would reportedly not be renewing with the company earlier this month. It's also been reported that the group is currently in discussions with YG in order to come up with a solution: that the members will promote as a group six months out of a year if the members are vehement on their decision to part ways with YG.
